Kinship
Kinship is a poetry and sound project celebrating Sweet Briar Marshes in Norwich. Working with writer Daisy Henwood, and collaborating with the local community during spring 2024 to create a unique soundscape inspired by the site. You can listen to the project here.
The project is part of Nature Connects Us, a place based partnership project supported by Norfolk & Norwich Festival and Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
Sound of Silents:
Curious Youth
Featuring a range of footage from the East Anglian Film Archive that explores the curiosity of childhood and youth. I worked with Reel Connections to coordinate the project, as well as creating my own original score to perform live. Culminating in an event in autumn 2022 at Octagon Chapel with live soundtracks by me, Broads feat. Jess Blake and Kitty Perrin. This project was part of the BFI Film Audience Network’s CURIOUS, a UK wide screen heritage programme that celebrates the human desire to learn more about the people and things around us. Ollust
‘Ollust’ is a six-track record, supported by Arts Council England, which is a collaborative project between me and Norfolk based electronic duo Broads. The songs are instrumental pieces based around Norfolk landscapes and culture and built around pianos, drones, field recordings and wordless vocals. Sisters of Silents
As part of the BFI Film Audience Network’s Changing Times programme I coordinated and performed at an evening exploring Women’s Histories and representation on screen, with archive film from the East Anglian Film Archive alongside live music by female and non-binary musicians.
This was the first event from Reel Connections, a new, not-for-profit organisation that uses film and the creative arts to engage and connect communities, groups and individuals across Norfolk and the East of England. Find out more at reelconnections.co.uk
BBC Remembrance
Working with BBC Voices and BBC Introducing in Norfolk I helped to put together an evening of spoken word, music, poetry and film looking at the legacy of WW1. This was recorded and played as part of Remembrance Sunday
Fiercest Light
Fiercest Light was co-commissioned 14-18 NOW: WW1 Centenary Art Commissions by Norfolk & Norwich Festival, Writers' Centre Norwich. I worked with BBC Voices and pupils from Wensum Junior School, using the pupils poetry to turn into a song. We then used this narrative to produce a short film with Metric
Young Promoters
Working with Creative Arts East on their Youth Music funded Young Promoters programme.
Most recently I facilitated a group of students from Samuel Ward Academy in Haverhill, to organise and promote a music event at Haverhill Arts Centre.
Songwriting workshops
I have been involved in various songwriting and musical mentoring workshops with a range of young people of all ages and backgrounds.

Britain on Film
For the last three years I have been working with the British Film Institute and Cinema City Education on coordination and commissions for the Britain on Film project. Using local archive footage from the East Anglian Film Archive, and themes such as Urban, Rural and Coastal. These bodies of work have culminated in performances at the Octagon Chapel in Norwich and across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Session Vocals
I regularly collaborate, tour and provided vocals, guitar and a (bit of) bass for a range of bands and musicians. Including Wooden Arms, B R O A D S, Eastern Seaboard, True Adventures.
